I've been on such an incredible journey this year, a journey of a lot of tears, a lot of heartache, laughs, adventures and lots of growth. An immense amount of self awareness and a lot of eye openers. I talk less and I trust very few. Not because I've been burned, I have been but... Continue Reading →
Thinking Powerful Thoughts
I had a rough couple of days last week. I got my hopes up about some things and they didn't turn out well. Or at least the way I suppose I wanted them to go, so to me they turned out bad. I've been learning about the power of the mind and how... Continue Reading →
Musical Props
I just posted a video on my Instagram page telling all who watch it to check out my blog. Eek. Why would I do that? This is the girl who got the lowest F possible in speech class in high school because she had such a hard time speaking in front of people. Again, why... Continue Reading →
Use Your Super Powers
I found this image today when I was searching for quotes about vulnerability. This is something I've wanted to write about for quite a while and just haven't been able to really grasp how I wanted to write about it. I’ve worked extremely hard... Continue Reading →
The beauty of color
Trying to see gray when all you’ve seen is black and white can be the most difficult journey to ever go on. Trying to shine your light when so many others want it dark is exhausting. The most difficult thing I think I’ve ever done was open my eyes to the possibility of there being... Continue Reading →
Who am I?
I just read an article about damaged women. I was going to write about who I feel I've become recently. I actually think it's how I always was but I hide myself because the world is so judgmental. I am a survivor. I've been through some shit in my life. Not as bad as some,... Continue Reading →
Things I have to remind myself of
I made this list a few months ago, I took everything that was happening to me and the things I have learned and I made myself a list to remind me when I felt defeated by the world. Just because they say they care doesn't mean they do. Actions speak much more than words. Most... Continue Reading →

Research shows that on average, people lie 10 times per day. Many people lie to keep the peace or to inflate their ego. Others might lie because they are pathological liars or have a personality disorder.
Lying appears to be part of our genetic makeup. It develops early in children and peaks in adolescence when a person begins to establish their identity and independence. Lying declines as…
